Automating Survey Delivery

Set up Source Matters to automatically send surveys to your sources

Here is how the email feature works:

Email address of the source is saved to Source Matters. See the step-by-step guide below on saving emails.


Please note the timing of when the initial email and reminder emails are sent: 

  1. Within 24 hours, the initial email is sent to the email address with options to update their data in Source Matters.
  2. First reminder email is sent 2 days later if the source has not completed the data entry.
  3. Second reminder email is sent 7 days later if the source has not completed the data entry.
  4. Third reminder email is sent 30 days later OR 1 day after the next story they're mentioned in.
